On November 11, 2013, Abu Dhabi Oil Refining Company (TAKREER) awarded Intecsa Industrial the contract for the “Naturally Occurring Radioactive Materials” (NORM) project.
The works will be executed in the vicinity of the industrial complex of Ruwais about 250 kilometers west of Abu Dhabi city, United Arab Emirates.
The scope of work of this turnkey Contract includes the installation of the handling, treatment and disposal system for “Naturally Occurring Radioactive Materials” (NORM), which is radioactive waste material naturally generated during drilling operations at the oil and gas fields exploration of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) affiliated companies in the United Arab Emirates.
The mechanical completion is scheduled within 28 months from date of contract effective date.
