Intecsa Industrial ha obtenido la award of a contract by NCIC (The NASR Company for lntermediate Chemicals) for the development of a Sulphuric Acid Plant, and a DAP and TSP Plant. These plants will be built in Ain Sohkna, located in the Gulf of Suez in the north-east of the country.
The scope of the turnkey contract, signed on 9 February in Cairo, includes basic and detailed engineering, supply of equipment and materials and construction, including assembly, commissioning and start-up of both plants.
With the development of this new DAP plant, Intecsa industrial consolidates its position as a world leader in contracts executed in DAP plants.
The contract represents half of the total fertilizer complex to be built in Ain Sohkna, which will be the largest ever built in Egypt in the fertilizer sector.
